On November 6th and 7th, the New Energy Challenge 2023 Finals took place at the Energy Transition Campus Amsterdam and ImpactFest in The Hague. The ten finalists were invited to pitch the technologies they develop to transform the energy system to this year’s jury, while also having the opportunity to connect with a host of industry professionals.
During the two-day finals, the startups and scaleups presented their innovative technologies focused on low carbon fuel development, on the promotion of regenerative agriculture and on a sustainable use of land and resources. All finalists were given the opportunity to work with investors and experts during the final phase of the New Energy Challenge, building their businesses through additional knowledge, contacts, funding, and support.
From the ten finalists, Kvasir Technologies and Freetilizer were the chosen winners and now have the opportunity to work with Shell to shape and execute a potential collaboration.
