From November 19th to 21st, the New Energy Challenge 2024 finals took place in Helsinki. Twelve finalists were invited to pitch their transformative energy technologies to this year’s jury. They also had the opportunity to connect with other startups, experts, and investors at Slush.

During the finals, the startups and scaleups presented their innovative energy and battery technologies, focusing on solutions to enhance industrial demand-side flexibility and energy forecasting. All finalists were given the opportunity to work with investors and experts, gaining valuable knowledge, contacts, funding, and support to grow their businesses.

From the twelve finalists, Edgecom Energy and Hyperheat were the chosen as the winners. They now have the opportunity to work with Shell to shape and execute a potential collaboration.
